Cine Colombia is one of the movie theater companies in Bogota. You can find it´s theaters at many different malls and places like Andino, Unicentro, Avenida Chile, Hacienda Santa Bárbara, Gran Estación, Metrópolis, Portal de la 80 and many more. In my opinion Cine Colombia has the best movie theaters with very comfortable chairs and the newest movies. You can choose your sitting spot which is great because you can sit in your favorite spot even if you aren't the first person in the theater and you can even book your spot in the movie through internet or a phone call.

Who doesn't like delicious popcorn and a cup of soda for the movie? Cine Colombia not only offers these, it offers a wide variety of fast food and drinks perfect for watching a movie.Sodas, water, juice, sandwiches, hot dogs, nachos, potato chips, popcorn and         candies are the best options from their menu.

                                        

Personally I think Cine Colombia is the best movie theater company in Bogotá because it has a great service with very kind staff that are always willing to help you, really comfortable seats, the best movies and they are very punctual.

 *JULIO MARIO SANTO DOMIGNO LIBRARY"

This is the new library it is called  JULIO MARIO  SANTO DOMINGO and like you have probably seen it from outside in your car..IS A VERY BIG LIBRARY!! The first you see are the many many steps you have to pass to get to the entry but thats alright when you enter and see everything clean and well organized ready to be steped and used by Bogota Citezens.

You will first have to stop in a special place were you would have to leave your bag,briefcase or purse, you will be given a littlecard with the number of your locker with your belongings at the moment you will leave the library;They make this for proteccion of their books...Cause all the beautiful things their in Bogota is From us To Us and if we take something it will be as is we were stoling our selfs.

As this library is brand new ,many things are missing Like the lack of Books thanks to the big spaces that were constructed for the million books that can fit.Also their's a computer zone full of new technology computers where you can see movies,play or look for information on internet.

Theres also 3 or more theaters,I havent enter but they seem very big and elegant,Theres always presentations and thet sell hundreds of tickets for them,

*So if you Like the theater or just to read good books VISIT JULIO MARIO SANTODOMINGO'S LIBRARY!! Its located by all the 170 St. Next to Lincoln's School.

 

* VIRGILIO BARCO'S LIBRARY:

How you can see in the pictures This is the "Bibloteca Publica Virgilio Barco",You have maybe went to this gigant Library and remember all those Green zones full of magic and flowers,Also the waterfalls located in diffrent parts of the outer side of this library.

 How you may now this library is very close to
amazing places on Bogota City Like: "El parque Simon Bolivar" "El museo de los Niños","El parque Salitre Magico" and "El centro de Deportes". 



To get here from north to south you can take the 68 Street or also the NQS.


This library is full of rooms with diffrent purposes like: Reading,Computers,Talking,
Buissnes,conferences and many more things.


After a good reading time you can go out and visit it surroundings and eat a Delicious dessert or buy a Cotton Cone you may sure find in these streets.

What people say about this important character?Wow!is amazing this character cause many impact to the Bogotan people first the most important they say that he has a Colombian lawyer and politician that was the mayor of Bogota.He also was realesed to become the president for Colombia but unfortunaetly he was murdered.

This Murder cause many impacts and  wilings in Bogota and all the contry.people in streets told  many things, that if Jorge E. Gaitan had become president this contry would by different. for all the people he was an hero and they consider he was the justice man.

People do this monument for show other people that Gaitan never surrender with any problem so visit this monument a see what wonderfull it can be .

Cristobal Colon


  This monument is important,because is the monument of Cristobal Colon the one who discovered America people here in Bogota talk about he and says that he was a navigator, cartographer, Admiral, Viceroy ang Governor general for India .this monument is in front of the monument of the Queen.


This is one of the many monuments in Bogota and is so important not only for Colombia but for all America this monuments is near the aeroport of bogota and is so visit by turist and also people of this contry because they want to know more about the history.

Luis Carlos Galan

Finally this monument of a candidate of the presidency Luis Carlos Galan is important for the people in Bogota, Colombia some people describe him like that he was a Colombia lawyer and politician, he also do great thing for the people.


This monument is locate in salitr near the mall Salitre Plaza,so many people of Salitre can se what wonderful is this monument unfortunately he was murder.Whatever he always going to be remembered for Colombian people also there are a monument in Barranquilla.


For finishing i recomend you to visit all the monuments of Bogota to view the diversity of statues and monuments in Bogota so don't waste timeand come to Bogota and have a great time.

Museo del oro

 walking into downtown bogota my eperience was really god beacuse walking i learned a lot about bogota an its amazing how do you realize that those walls and those streets were essential parts of our history  like in a explample the museo del oro this museum represent the recolection of important pieces made by our living etnies pieces that mark an certain moment of time in wich the spanish ( 1810) came and began the trading but especially maked the pass through indians and not cultured people into smart religious and civilizated people ruled by the spanish crown.

my experience in the musuem was great because i was amazed about how this ancient people who got nothing could actually formed that gold into this amazing pieces that now days are difficult to do and with tecnology , i really loved that museum it really represent the beauty of our people and shows the importance of them in our history . also i learned a lot of things i didn't know and i really understand the idea of preserving of our history,

in this video you can see some  ways the used the gold how they formed and i really like takingthis video it was great how the accepted me and all the people to take pictures and ask about what they are preserving and wath they have in this beautiful museum.

CASA DEL FLORERO ( MUSEO DE LA INDEPENDENCIA )

in this muesum my experience was much better because here i learned all about the florero de llorente and how everything started like there i saw the spuelas of santarder and the accesories of his horse some gold stuff stealed by them and i found the only piece of the florero de llorente i was great i get a little emotional about this because for me this represent the beauty of the  independance the importance of showing how everything

 happened here i found documents clothing and el acta de la inedependencia (:

i also found santander's sword i was amazing !!

in this amazing place we can find history ,we can feel part of history we can find great pople churches and m y experience there was really cool because i've never been  in there and being over there by the firts time was amazing by thinking those thigs are thigs that have been there by years that remember us the speciality of being in this great place BOGOTA!  also i think the experience of being there and watch all that things is really amazing is emotive  how yu can find good things on just an old place (:
